AIEEE The All India Engineering Entrance Examination (AIEEE) is organized by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) in India and Department of Secondary & Higher Education, Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD) in acquiescence with the directives of the Government of India (GOI) for the aspirants seeking admission to Engineering, Architecture, Planning and Pharmacy degree courses in diverse engineering Entrance and institutions in India.
Students opting for B.Tech are tested in Physics, Mathematics and Chemistry. Students opting for B.Arch are tested in Mathematics and an Aptitude test. It is usually held at the end of April and results are announced at the end of May. Candidates are ranked on an All India basis and also according to their state. Thus, they have an All India Rank (AIR) and a state rank. A central analysis structure is offered for filling up the accessible seats all over India. This counseling is presented only for the applicants who stand in merit of All India Engineering Entrance Examination (AIEEE).
Candidates are, however, required to appear in the papers as per Scheme of Examination for AIEEE specified.
The minimum academic qualification for admission through AIEEE is a pass in the final examination of 10+2 (Class XII) or its equivalent referred to as the qualifying examination. Those appearing in 10+2 (Class XII) final or equivalent examination may also appear in AIEEE for consideration of provisional admission.
